Ok, so I've been told that it's almost the end of August and that I need to write something in my blog... :)

Moving stuff around in my room cause I just had it painted. Finally moving stuff back around again and hooking up the computer again. I don't think I've used this computer in almost a month. Well, at least I got around to it right??? Maybe I can finally sleep in my bed again... I haven't been able to do that since June. :P

I thought that the high school retreat went well last year. Really enjoyed the time with the high school brothers and sisters. Actually kind of renewed me in a way. I was physically exhausted when I got back home, but inwardly I feel much more awake. That's a good thing. I think it's just when you get the opportunity to fellowship with brothers and sisters it actually renews you in your spirit. I hope that the high schoolers had a good time and experience that inward renewal as well (something different than an emotional high). I'd post some pictures, but Connie still has the digi. I'll post them when I get a hold of the camera.

Went to look at some townhouses with Connie, Alan, and Gloria. There are some nice ones out there... but some are just a little too out there. Forgot to bring the digi. Oh well I'll take some nice jpegs of the next ones we go look at.

So a funny thing happened at work. My ex-boss (sadly yes I'm no longer in his depts) asked if I wanted to play some golf after work. I told him that I was going home for dinner and then he replied, "Are you getting the 'You're using this house like a hotel speech?' " Hahahahaha I've heard that line a few times already and I thought it was just a Chinese thing... guess not. We both had a nice little laugh at that. Anyways I was thinking about writing him a letter to share about the encouragement he's provided during the year I worked for him. It was truly a blessing to have a brother in Christ as my manager.

Looks like the links to other Blogs needs to be updated. Many have gone the way of the dinosaur. Good job to those who have kept up. It does provide some nice entertainment when one has the time... but who has that anymore? ;)
