Sometimes I kinda wonder where all the time actually
goes. No time to ever jot down a simple thought on a blog anymore it seems.
Not sure if I've ever written about this, probably have... just too lazy to go
back and check. I know I've told some people before though that I find it weird
to be in meetings at work and not end in prayer. I think in the past it was just
because I wasn't used to it and all the actual meetings I would attend would be
involving things at church. But I've been working for some time now, so you'd
think that it should be different, yet I still find it odd. Well maybe not odd...
but... oh, i dunno. Like we had a departmental lunch this past Friday for a couple
of ICS' from Japan who are here for training, and I felt weird not praying as
a group before we ate. Well, maybe the feeling isn't so much a feeling weird about
not doing it as it's to be expected, but one of longing to or desiring to.
My cousin is here for the summer. She still remembers a few of the people that
she met last time. She certainly is looking forward to her summer here. My mom
signed her up for swimming lessons so that will be good and of course we'll be
making her read a lot hehe.
I guess a lot has happened since the last time I wrote anything. Connie is here
finally. It's been a long wait, but she's out here now. Even though she had a
couple weeks off before her work officially started, her weeks were pretty packed.
First off was the car shopping. The Charcoal colored Honda Accord LX was the result
of that. She's had a lot of adjusting to do and she continues to have a lot but
I hope that with work starting things will settle in for her pretty quickly. I'm
that she had that internship previously... that should help a lot.
This weekend was my brother's graduation as well. It's kinda weird thinking that
he's outta college now... even though he is only 16 months younger than I am.
My parents looked quite happy and had a good time at the BBQ on Saturday evening.
I bet they can't wait until the two of us our out of the house and then they can
really party! haha But in all seriousness, congrats to my bro and all the other
graduates for finishing up what they started.
