Figured I'd better start posting something or else I'd have nothing for the month of May :) Actually I'm supposed to be packing for Hawaii but I find myself not doing that. I hate packing... though it's not really difficult in any sense... it's just something I don't particularly enjoy. But then again I get to go to Hawaii so I guess that makes up for it haha.

I've been working a lot lately. I think I worked 11 hours two days out of the week last week and then 10 hours another day or two. Worked 10 and a half hours today. It's not so bad since we're busy and there's a lot to do. Is there something wrong when I'm functioning so normally on so little sleep?

So Doeggy's coming back. haha that'll be fun. Just like the good ol days. Memories....

Seems like the weekends always go by so fast now. Actually I think this whole year has pretty much been a blur so far haha. It was a nice enjoyable weekend. Spent time with the family for Mother's Day. My two uncles from my dad's side were in town, so we had a pretty good sized family dinner. Set me back quite a bit, but oh well... it's family :)

It was pretty interesting to see how goofy and corny my family really is haha. My uncles and my dad were hamming it up all night. Somehow jokes spoken in Chinese just seem to be all the more funny. :) It's good to see though that at their age, they can still have such a relationship with one another. I know I'll be clowning on Kevin when I'm 80! haha

Wow, it's already been like two and a half weeks since I last recorded anything in this blog. I've been crazy busy lately though. Sometimes feels like I don't even have a moment to sit down and rest. I probably do, but sometimes it just doesn't feel like that. Well, I'm at home today, so I guess I have the time to relax a bit. Problem is... now that I'm at home, I have stuff I gotta do around the house hehe.

May's gonna be quite a busy month. I already told Kelvin about my packed weekends. *dodging Kelvin's fist coming towards my face* :P

So, I applied for a couple AB positions in the E-Commerce division today. At first I was a little hesitant because of the following reasons:

- I enjoy the division that I am in and like all the people I work with 
- All else being equal, they will take someone within the E-Commerce division
- I don't want to make myself look like someone who is always looking for a way out and is not loyal to the division.
- I have a boss who is a good brother in Christ and is an encouragement to me
- There is a good possibility for advancement for me in my current division... just don't know exactly when.

Anyways, I came to the conclusion to apply anyways. Opportunities don't present themselves everyday and if anything it will be good for me to meet some of the buyers in the E-Com division and to get myself more exposed to different areas within the company. My boss is really cool, he's always on my side for things like this. It's always nice when you have people stressing you development. Anyways, whether I get it or not, we'll see. To be continued...
