Here's a few pics of what the rooms look like right now. The pics aren't great though because the lighting sucked and I was too tired to try and make them look decent... but you'll get the gist of it.

Well, I think we've pretty much finished painting the house. Not that it's perfect... I think we're just tired of painting it. So it's basically good enough :) We ordered the carpet last week so once that's all done we'll just need to get some furniture. Pics to come.

Walter's baseball game on Friday was pretty cool. Reminded me of playing back in the day. Kinda wanted to get out there and play as well. Maybe one of these years. If not then there's always the Mariner's fantasy camp when we turn 30!

Steve proposed to Na! Well... I guess I already knew but didn't expect it to be this weekend. Now I have someone who can relate to me... yes! :)

I always have more things to write then there is time. Maybe one of these days I will actually sit down and write something that is more captivating then what is going on with the house and such. Maybe I'll even throw in a opinion or two.

This is the first time since my dad moved out of my grandparent's house that he won't be calling home to wish my grandma a Happy Mother's Day. With everything still being so recent... I bet this is hitting him hard. My mom and brother and in Shanghai right now, so there's even less people around the house. Sometimes I just don't know what to do or say... but I guess just being there is a comfort.

My dad and I went to go return the laminate flooring at Costco yesterday. Man... that stuff is heavy! I think we were low-riding in the mini van because of all the packs of wood :) I got cash back on the return and was paid in $20's... I have a fat wad of $20's now. Hmm... maybe I should have brought in a suitcase and asked for it all in $1's.

It's been awhile, yet it still seems like just yesterday I wrote my last post. Quite a bit has happened since the last time I wrote something. Bought a house... currently in the process of finishing up painting the interior... more wedding stuff... Connie about to get a new job... etc. Sometimes you want a break to just take a breath and enjoy things, but then again sometimes you need to press on for the sake of others around you as well.

So the house is starting to look pretty good with all the new colors. It feels much warmer than having plain old white walls. I've always lived in a house with just plain white walls which I don't have any problem with, but having colors gives it a different feel. Though... it's a pain in the butt to paint :) We've had a lot of people help out with the paint job though. Connie and I are thankful for all the help that we've gotten on it. I'll most some before and after pics when I actually take the "after" pics. Hmm... I guess it would be more like "before" and "in process" pics.

Ok, more to go do... next update? Hmm... we'll see.
