Wedding Pictures
Ok, so I finally got around to scanning a few wedding pictures. I know I've been terrible about doing it, and I'm still way behind but I guess here are a few to tide over those who may want to see them. Sorry for those of you who still are suffering through dial up. Maybe I should just put up links next time.... looks cleaner that way anyways.
Retreated out... a little
This weekend marks the third retreat Connie and I have been to in the past 4 weeks. That one weekend we had off we were in Arizona so the traveling made it seem like a retreat as well. Nothing against retreats... I find them all very encouraging and all... but I'm looking forward to a "normal not much to do but hang out" type of weekend. Connie and I are also sharing on the topic of Marriage and Dating this weekend... haha I guess we're it by default at this current time.
Basketball League... Sports... Life
We won our first game of the season this past Sunday. It was pretty fun... but boy am I outta shape. Plus... I suck pretty bad at basketball. I think I tend to not be aggresive enough when I play. It's a little weird though because I'm more aggresive in sports like baseball and football, but when it comes to hoops I tend to float around too much.
One thing I heard once was that you can tell a person's true character by playing sports with them. Hmm.... do you think it's true?

Titles
So I've decided to try and organize my thoughts a little better by titling sections of each blog. Of course there will be times when I don't write much so there will be no need for titles... but for now we'll see how it goes.
Crazy Mad Airport Lady
Connie and I spent the Labor Day weekend with her parents in Arizona. While waiting at our gate for our plane to arrive we heard over the airport intercom... "IF YOU ARE NOT IN FIRST CLASS... PLEASE GET TO THE BACK OF THE LINE!!! WE ARE ONLY BOARDING FIRST CLASS PASSENGERS AT THIS TIME!!!" Needless to say the whole terminal started to snicker a bit. I guess she must have been having a pretty bad day. The funniest part is no less than 1 minute later she proceeded to say "Ok, we are now boarding all rows." Haha, classic stuff.
Sweltering Heat = Lack of Energy
Actually I guess Arizona wasn't as hot as I thought it'd be this time around. It was still in the upper 90s and I'm sure it hit at least 100 for periods of time. I think my body has a hard time adjusting to the warmer climate though. I found myself with a lack of energy whenever we weren't really doing anything. I slept sooooo much! I seem to always sleep so much when I go to AZ. Connie's parents must think I'm such a lazy bum! Hmm... well I guess it's too late.
